Mailings Notify Renewing Clients of Healthcare Reform Changes
Fully insured group and individual clients renewing this fall will receive a mailing from us this week with an advance copy of their endorsement and a cover letter explaining changes related to healthcare reform. The changes include maximum lifetime benefits, dependent children eligibility, pre-existing exclusion period, and coverage for preventive care services. This week's mailings are outlined below:
- Oregon Small Groups (2-50) renewing in October
- Oregon Large Groups renewing in October
Groups that renew in November or December will receive their advance copy of the endorsement with a cover letter at the end of this week.
- Idaho Individuals renewing in October
- Idaho Groups renewing in October
Groups renewing later will receive the cover letter and endorsement with their renewal packet.

Please note: Unfortunately, we did not have all the final details to update proposal summaries that went out already with the October 1 renewals, so some customers received incorrect information.
Oregon Individuals: Healthcare reform notices will be included with the regular renewal notices that are sent in late November.
