The Annual Healthcare Survey is Coming!

It’s that time again: The annual Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) is underway.

Participants are chosen at random, so it’s possible some of your clients could be selected. We’ve been letting members know to be on the lookout for the survey, which is overseen by a company called SPH Analytics.

If asked, feel free to let clients know that a healthcare survey from SPH Analytics is legitimate, and that their personal information will not be shared

Thanks for your assistance, and for helping us make healthcare better.

Learn about the survey on our blog. >>

Introducing bold new offerings for 2020

Launching now are two new products: Navigator and Voyager. By elevating quality of care, access and choice, we’re also improving predictability and how members make more informed decisions about their health.

To partner agents everywhere: more opportunity to...

  • Improve the member experience through a focus on quality of care and cost
  • Optimize patient outcomes through greater provider-partner information sharing
  • Offer more choices and price points across our geography

Navigator is for coordinated care

Through data sharing and accountable care management, providers are better informed to direct and guide the patient experience across the full spectrum of health conditions—helping members engage and attain their healthiest selves.

Voyager is our PPO (preferred provider organization)

Formerly known as PSN, Voyager is our rebranded PPO to give members expanded access to our broadest network of providers. (Note: Voyager is not available to individual plans in Oregon and Washington.)

PacificSource “Anti-Flu Force” campaign promotes no-cost flu shots

What can you do to help prevent flu’s spread? Send a strong message to members to roll up a sleeve. According to the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention, the flu shot offers 60% more protection than no shot at all.

For its annual campaign, PacificSource is reminding members of convenient, no-cost options to get a flu shot. Themed “Be a Flu Fighter,” the Anti-Flu Force campaign touts how flu fighters not only prevent the misery of flu for themselves; they also help prevent spreading the flu to loved ones and others who cross their paths.

Members’ no-cost flu-shot options include drop-ins at local in-network pharmacies, public health clinics, or in-network providers.

In-network pharmacies include Albertsons, Costco, CVS, Fred Meyer (Kroger), and Safeway. For a no-cost flu shot, members simply show up with their PacificSource member ID card.

Employer groups can also host on-site flu shot clinics for their employees. For more information about employer-hosted clinics, please contact a representative listed on our Employer Clinic page
