Willamette Valley Medical Center and PacificSource Health Plans Announce New Collaboration
(McMinnville, Ore.) Aug. 21, 2018—Willamette Valley Medical Center (WVMC) and PacificSource Health Plans announce a new collaboration to create and sustain affordable health benefit solutions for residents of Yamhill County. Beginning in 2019, PacificSource will offer competitively priced new health insurance products for employers and individuals in the greater McMinnville market. The new offerings will leverage the existing high-quality care provided at the WVMC and by the many independent physicians and providers throughout the McMinnville area.
Through this collaboration, WVMC and PacificSource will keep the vast majority of health care services within the local McMinnville community. For highly specialized services, WVMC and PacificSource are partnering with Legacy Health in Portland which maintains a network of six acute care hospitals and 2,500 physicians covering all aspects of primary, pediatric, and specialty care. Legacy Health will be a referral destination to WVMC and will also provide on-site resources to the Center.
