PacificSource Contracts with COIC for Non-Emergency Medical Transportation in Central Oregon

(Bend, Ore.) November 26, 2019 PacificSource Community Solutions, the Medicaid division of PacificSource Health Plans, has contracted with the Central Oregon Intergovernmental Council (COIC) to provide non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) brokerage services to its Coordinated Care Organization (CCO) members based in Central Oregon through March of 2020.

Services will be provided through COIC’s Cascades East Ride Center (CERC), to arrange rides to medical appointments for eligible Medicaid (OHP) clients. The service area covered for the scheduling of medical transportation rides includes the following counties: Crook, Deschutes, Jefferson, and four communities in Northern Klamath County; Gilchrist, Crescent, Chemult and Crescent Lake, in addition to serving the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs.

The COIC serves the local governments of Central Oregon, providing regional collaboration, efficiencies and service delivery for a strong local economy and quality of life.

PacificSource Community Solutions has contracted with LogistiCare to provide NEMT services in Central Oregon beginning April 1, 2020.
