Oregon Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP) Now in EffectPill bottle and pill

As you may already know, Oregon House Bill 4143 requires all Oregon providers to register in the Prescription Drug Monitoring Program. The registration deadline was July 1, 2018.

To register, please visit oregon.pmpaware.net. You must include a copy of your current and valid government-issued photo (scan/upload) and verify your email.

The PDMP provides information to promote public health and safety, and aids healthcare providers and pharmacists with managing patient prescriptions to improve patient quality of care. The PDMP allows providers to see a patient's controlled substance history by drug, date, amount, MED, prescriber, and pharmacy. This can help providers better understand a patient's medication history. Medical Directors, Pharmacy Directors, and appointed delegates also have access to the program.
