Effective June 1, 2023, PacificSource Health Plans has collaborated with Aetna Signature Administrators® to offer commercial members in-network access to Aetna’s broad national PPO network. This network will replace the First Health® Network and First Choice Health in Alaska.
The Aetna PPO network is available to individual and family plans, employer group plans, student health plans, and self-funded plans when they need care outside the PacificSource four-state network footprint (Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington).
New ID cards and an explanatory flier have been mailed to all PacificSource Health Plans members with the new network. Here’s a sample of how the ID cards look:
