What can you do to help prevent flu’s spread? Send a strong message to members to roll up a sleeve. According to the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention, the flu shot offers 60% more protection than no shot at all.
For its annual campaign, PacificSource is reminding members of convenient, no-cost options to get a flu shot. Themed “Be a Flu Fighter,” the Anti-Flu Force campaign touts how flu fighters not only prevent the misery of flu for themselves; they also help prevent spreading the flu to loved ones and others who cross their paths.
Members’ no-cost flu-shot options include drop-ins at local in-network pharmacies, public health clinics, or in-network providers.
In-network pharmacies include Albertsons, Costco, CVS, Fred Meyer (Kroger), and Safeway. For a no-cost flu shot, members simply show up with their PacificSource member ID card.
