Behavioral Health Fee Schedule Increases (Medicaid)

Dear Behavioral Health Providers,

We want first to thank you for your continued care of our members. We have received several questions from our Behavioral Health provider partners requesting more information regarding the Public Note that the Oregon Health Authority released regarding the plan to increase the Behavioral Health and SUD fee schedule.

The notice outlines, “Rates will become effective July 1, 2022, for FFS and January 1, 2023, for coordinated care organizations and are intended to strengthen and support services and supports offered to OHP eligible Oregonians”.

We hope to have a complete picture in the coming months and will provide further guidance once we have a confirmed understanding of the overall impact on the OHA Behavioral Health Fee Schedule.

Please visit the below link outlining the Public Note, released from OHA on June 14, 2022.

Notice of intent – OHA will amend the Medicaid State Plan to increase fee-for-service behavioral health rates and establish payment model for integrated treatment of co-occurring disorders (oregon.gov)
