Oregon is distributing Community Capacity Building Funding to organizations interested in providing Health-Related Social Needs (HRSN) benefits such as climate-related supports, housing supports, and nutrition supports. The funding can be spent on four categories:
- Technology
- Development of business or operational practices
- Workforce development
- Outreach, education, and convening
The Oregon Health Authority will be distributing this funding regionally to CCOs, and CCOs will be responsible for reviewing applications, awarding funding, and monitoring use of the funds. This funding will allow PacificSource CCOs to offer grants to organizations to build the necessary capabilities and capacity to provide climate, housing, and nutrition services as a CCO health benefit.
