Being a “members first” health insurer means communicating in ways that members find easy to understand. That’s why we’re pleased to announce a redesign of the Explanation of Benefits (EOB) statements members receive when they use their PacificSource benefits.
As you know, the EOB is a fixture of the health insurance world, as it supplies members and providers with details on what services were performed and how payments were applied. This new version of our EOB will make it easier for members to find the information that’s most important to them.
Members may choose to receive their explanation of benefits via a paper copy in the mail, online, or both
PacificSource now has two kinds of EOB statements: single and consolidated. Members who choose to receive their EOBs by mail (the default) will get consolidated EOBs that include activity over a three-week period. To access single EOBs, members should log in to their InTouch account, where all EOB statements can be found.
