We include pediatric and adult vision benefits with many of our plans. Here's how to find your coverage details or a vision provider.

Vision coverage

Vision benefits: Find out what’s covered

You can find vision benefit information specific to your plan in several ways:

Not sure if you have vision coverage?

Check your member ID card, or any of the three options listed above.

    Looking for a vision provider?

You’ll typically pay less when you see an in-network vision provider. Find one using our online Provider Directory. In the specialty search field, select ophthalmology or optometry.

Ophthalmology vs. optometry: An ophthalmologist is a medical doctor who studies the eye and treats eye diseases. An optometrist is a provider who performs routine eye exams and checks for vision problems and eye diseases. Both can prescribe eyeglasses and contact lenses.
