What you can do now to protect your coverage

The most important thing members can do is stay connected and respond to OHP communications.

Keep your contact information up to date

Make sure OHP has your current mailing address, phone number, email address, and any other relevant contact information. You can update your contact information:

By phone at
800-699-9075
(7 a.m. – 6 p.m. PT, Monday – Friday)

With help from an OHP assister. Use this search tool to find local help.

Read and respond to OHP notices

If a notice requests information or action, be sure to respond by the deadline. Notices may arrive by mail, so watch for them and read them carefully.

Ask for help early if you have questions

If you have questions about your coverage or a notice you receive, call the number listed on the notice. Help is also available through OHP, a certified assister, or PacificSource.

What to expect

Several federal and state policy changes are expected to affect some OHP members beginning in late 2026 and continuing into 2027 and beyond. Potential changes may include:

  • Changes in how certain members receive OHP benefits.
  • New activity or work reporting requirements for some adults.
  • More frequent eligibility renewals for some members.

Because these changes will not affect everyone in the same way, members should carefully review all notices that OHP mails and follow the instructions provided.

How providers and community partners can help

Providers and community organizations play an important role to help members maintain coverage and access care. We encourage partners to:

  • Remind members to keep their contact information up to date.
  • Encourage members to open and respond to OHP communications.
  • Connect members with enrollment and eligibility assistance.
  • Refer members to trusted resources when they have questions.
  • Avoid making eligibility or exemption determinations on a member's behalf.
